Considered outdoor spaces
Good gardens come from paying close attention. To the light, the soil, the architecture, the way a space is used and the way it could be.
In a courtyard or on a balcony, there’s no background planting to fall back on. Every decision is visible. That’s what makes these spaces interesting to design, and satisfying to get right.
A hands-on approach
From concept to completion
We guide projects from first concept through to completion, working with skilled contractors and local craftspeople where needed. Whether the focus is planting design, structural elements, a more functional layout or post-installation care, our role is to bring clarity, care and design intent to the process.
A garden for daily life
We consider planting, materials, maintenance, light, shade, privacy and the way you want to live outside. The aim is not just a space that looks finished, but one that feels settled, sitting comfortably with the home and continuing to bring pleasure as materials age and planting grows.
Gareth Walker
I grew up around people who cared deeply about their gardens. That connection to plants and outdoor spaces was shaped early, and it never really left.
After a career in technology, I retrained as a garden designer and worked under an award-winning landscape designer. It gave me a practical, hands-on way of working, grounded in strong planting, careful detailing and a clear sense of how people actually use their outdoor spaces.
Structural work is handled by trusted contractors, but I stay close to every project through to the end. I’m most at home with a spade in hand, working through the planting and finishing touches that help a garden feel settled and personal.
